In any case, I reckon all the Mane Six have a reasonable amount of money. Pinkie probably makes a fair amount from her epic-tier food marketing skills and her catering/party planning, Twi gets her postgrad scholarship stipend, Rarity and AJ run businesses, Fluttershy saved up from her modelling and gets some kind of pay as town Ranger/Druid, and Dashie gets a good amount as the IC of the Weather Team.

It was mentioned by Tabitha at a panel as if the episode had already aired, oddly enough. I guess it's difficult to tell what airs when when you're a voice actor.

I remember reading that that may have been just referring to how Flutterguy from "Bridle Gossip" and the dragon from "Dragonshy" have the same voice.

There is an argument to be made that the simple act of two characters entering romance would be OOC in and of itself. But I'm not going to make it.

Yeah, I'm actually with Mio on this one. I'm of the opinion that if you want to ship some characters it has to get there slowly. Even simple infatuation is beyond the scope of the show (unless you're dealing with Spike), so you'd need to develop into that, first.
That was a heavily romanticized dream in which her Prince Charming was a perfect gentleman and they'd love each other a lot and live happily ever after. If she only cared about status, she would have put up with Blueblood.

I have to say, the premise of most shipfics I've seen in the Fimfiction recommended box are "Character X discovers they love Character Y". I don't think that is how romance works in real life if you'e known someone for that long.

To be fair, even published romance novels tend to be pretty inaccurate.
I've just realised something. Rarity is canonically straight. Therefore shipping her with another mare is OOC.

Eh, as long as it's reasonably well-written and has a reasonable amount of sense/logic in it (for a given amount of it of course), it usually stands up well.
