I would have said that a Diamond Tiara episode where she doesn't change at least somewhat for the better doesn't seem like this show's style, but on the other hoof I wouldn't put it past the writing team either if they think it's funny/entertaining enough.

At least Fluttershy prolly saved up some money from the modelling, so she shouldn't have any problems with her savings for a bit.

And yeah, it's a bit of a shame they had no follow throughs there. I like to think Photo Finish found another pony to make into her new model.

Wouldn't matter anyways, Shiny and Cadence prolly hooked up some time after Twi went to board at the Academy/Canterlot Castle, so she would not have known about this since they didn't keep in touch. On the other hand, for the unicornshippers, now that Twi is nobility by marriage-in-law, Rarity might decide "Eh, close enough..."
