What of the north of the mountains? The Crystal Empire is south of it. Having an east-west mountain range right south of the arctic makes an interesting climate. Only winds from the north get there and very little of the rains from the south pass the mountains. Also the northern winds don't get past the mountains much either so the Crystal Kingdom is quite fine with the winds from Equestria.
that the Crystal Empire will appear just northeast of Vanhoover, giving the Mane Six a "normal" place to rest.
The Crystal Ponies got their hatred eaten and frozen. But to everyone's surprise, they didn't die, but adapted to the new changes.
The Crystal Kingdom is leaderless, their old Royal Family having sacrificed itself to seal the kingdom from Discord. Cadence has inherited the kingdom by dint of having a bloodline descent from their extended royal bloodline.
I'll buy that for 10 dollars.
