@ATC: well of course you shouldn't drink enough to get a hangover, that's just stupid. But most people can handle a few drinks before they reach that point, allowing a nice buzz without seriously impairing you or leaving you with a hangover the next day.

@ Dottie: Okay, I don't know exactly what a hangover is like, but I've heard that it's like having a brick thrown at your head while your center of gravity jumps up and down and your throat tries to eject your breakfast.

@Con: I think absinthe is legal in the states now, although I've also heard that the hallucinogenic properties it has are greatly exaggerated and it's nowhere near as potent as a lot of people make it out to be.

As for alcohol, I don't care for it much; I find most drinks would be better without it. Not that I never drink it, but I've never really had an urge to drink it much either. Basically, I'll take it if it's available, but I won't go out of my way for it.
