I have a single worthwhile fic as well, though it doesn't appear to be the cup of tea of too many people here.

Yes I am annoyed when people misuse literally. Mostly because it makes it difficult to talk about things that are actually literally true.

I'm now halfway done with FOE. I must say, it's quite impressive how well they've blended different aspects from all the different fallout games with mlp while still keeping very close to the overall feel of the fallout verse. I really do love how they've either blended elements from multiple games together, or taken an element from one game and changed it slightly. Having both Fallout 2 and 3 versions of the Enclave, in the form of the pegasi and Red Eyes(please tell me red eyes is actually a computer!)? And the stables! The games also had a vault where the AI slowly killed off everyone and a vault where artificially created organism took over and killed everyone, but I was pleased with the different routes taken with the equivalent stable versions.

and the various creature analogues! Mutant diamond dogs as a mix between deathclaws and tunnelers? I wanna say the alicorns are the supermutant equivalent, but the griffons would also fit. Although I don't know why I haven't seen a radscorpion equivalent yet. Or a Cazador equivalent. Thank god.

I guess the thing to take away from this is that, FOE is a lot better if you read it as a fan of fallout than as a fan of mlp.

Vault 11 doesn't sound anything like the Crusader vault.

Yup Alicorns are Super mutant. No Cazador in the main fic, but they did show up in Pink Eyes. Pretty sure the Chimera's were supposed to be nightstalkers and no Redeye is a cyberpony.

I've read several.

I've read some MS Ts.

The way the video game elements were integrated were definitely neat, but I wish it would have made up its mind on how realistic it was trying to be, as well as at least try to justify some of the stranger things, like Pip's Bag of Holding, or the omniscient map.

I've written a novel.

I've started a few fanfics in the past while suffering from writer's block but I always gave them up as soon as I came up with a new original story to write, so I've never finished one.

Sunny Skies All Day Long. It's a one-off that reads more like an episode than a fanfiction, and it's quite good.

That really is the only one I've read.

To be fair, bags of holding are arguably canon.

Another funny moment with the Bag of Holding that I remember:

At one point the story makes a point of showing that, yes, Pip's bag does fill up. Unfortunately, the moment of logic is killed by the fact that the action that revealed this was Pip trying to stuff a whole assault rifle into her saddlebag. You just know you're breaking the laws of physics when the reason you can't stuff a rifle into your bag is because it's full, not because the rifle is bigger than the bag.

Perpetual - it get's worse. Later on, Calamity is a compulsive hoarder and it gets played for laughs. At one point, they're sneaking around on an Enclave ship and they happen across a gun closest. I don't recall exactly what happens but I think Calamity somehow manages to take the entire contents.

Heh, oh, it's much better than the first fanfiction I ever wrote, either. My first fanfictions were stories I wrote in 4th grade about myself joining Rogue Squadron as a 12 year old.

Heck, it's much better than the first fanfiction I published online, which it appears I've previously deleted from my old FFDN account, so I can't show you how much better. It was an OC trainer Pokemon fic starring what must be the worst Mary Sue I've ever written. I literally (and yes, I mean literally) made it a rule of the universe that he couldn't lose battles to anyone but his rivals. XD

Okay, that just sounds hilarious.
