@meta four - So, essentially the unicorns came into existence at the same time with celestial objects, correct?

I know why Celestia defeated NMM. It was a good thing.
@Kyler: I think they mean that if Celestia has to choose between her sister and the wellbeing of her kingdom, her kingdom takes precedence. So if she had to imprison Luna in the moon to ensure the safety of her subjects, she'd do that.
@condot - Would it really count as a clear win, though? I mean, if Celestia wre to really win, then she would have had to get rid of the corruption as well.

My personal take on it is that Celestia couldn't use the elements to purify Luna because Luna was still attuned to them (or at least, the elements weren't attuned to Celestia), so she couldn't get the purification underway until the elements realigned with somepony else.
I wonder when the ponies first came in Equestria. Could it be that the Alicorns are the first ponies?
@JT - I thought the pilot stated that Celestia wielded all the Elements by herself?

Or, the unicorn tribe inherited control of the celestial bodies from some other being(s) who came into existence at the same time as the sun and the stars.
He played one beat and my life flashed in front of me.
Do you think Celestia created them?
That could work. Do you think the ponies kicked out Pluto, too?
Does anyone have any guess on where did the first ponies come from?

Continuing headcanon: the EoH began to shut down once Luna turned. Celestia was forced to rely more and more on her own powers, and "seal away in a magical coma for an indeterminate amount of time" was the best she could accomplish.
"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."
@Kyler: The Celestial Incarnae aren't the Greek gods, though.
Do you suppose an alicorn created Tartarus?
