As for the umbreon picture, my guess is that somebody was going to upload a Fluttershy picture and accidentally uploaded the wrong image from their computer or something.

@David, His images come out within minutes of an episodes ending, he doesn't know the meaning of the words "Time" or "effort". Do you have any idea how quickly his picture of Big Mac cuddling Smartypants came out? Almost instantly.

@Gex, already seen the image, Applelight and I are sort of huge fans of Ross Irving.

@Blissey, I don't drink alcohol, awful stuff the lot of it, only 20 anyhow, but tiredness produces similar effects.

There are some questions regarding the beginning. It would be great if you guys can answer them.

Nightmare Moon is obviously a being more powerful than Luna. Where did the power come from? Is Nightmare Moon merely an extension of Luna's resentment or is it a form of Superpowered Evil Side?
Where did the Elements of Harmony come from? Did Celestia create them or did they exist before that?
Nightmare Moon was trapped in the moon. How did she come back in the pilot? What exactly did she do to Celestia?

I know by experience that sleep deprivation = drunk. At least in my case, people have mistaken me for drunk when I was just stupidly tired.

1. We don't know. 2. The elements appear to pre-exist Celestia, but info is slim. 3. We don't know that either. Best guess is that the imprisonment was never intended to be permanent. As for Celestia, we don't really know; the common guess is that she was imprisoned in the sun.

Basically, all those points are left vague in the show and fanon fills the gaps.

I am sick of people saying Dash is a lesbian just because she's not very girly.

Yeah, I love Tolkien. I'm betting the release of The Hobbit movie is going to bring an enormous wave of crossover pony art with it, and I intend to go full Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride on that shit.

Lots of people like rainbows and are not gay. Besides, she didn't choose to have rainbow hair to show her pride. She just has rainbow hair.

@David, I hate his approach to art, and his people. I have been aware of his work for a long long long long time. I was reading The Lounge when My art was barely fledgling back in say 2003-ish. Seeing him again, after all this time to find he hasn't improved in the slightest to the point that even I have on some capacity surpassed him makes me ill.

@Mousa: I think it's mostly that he simply hit a style he liked and decided to streamline it rather than continue developing. I realize that runs contrary to your personal take on it, but I think it's a valid artistic decision. His current art isn't bad by any means, and he draws it far faster than the majority of artists in the fandom.

@con There isn't and basis for it, but I'm not going to argue with people compelled to ship characters in a primarily female cast. After all, every character must have a romantic partner.

@Mio: Exactly. I am sometimes disillusioned with the ostensibly accepting fan community whenever I see that kind of attitude.

I mean, I no Not That There's Anything Wrong with That is a cliche by now, but sometimes people throw around accusations of homophobia when confronted with the fact that all of the characters are most likely straight.

I also feel that runs contrary to some of the show's principles that make it good in the first place. You don't need romantic love to be happy.

I think the idea that everyone has to have a romantic partner is overstating it a little. I mean, I like certain pairs, but it's based almost entirely off the fact that I think those interactions are interesting. I mean, I'm sure that some people are like that, but not everyone who's interested in shipping is.
