The only British shows I really watch are Monty Python, Doctor Who, and Sherlock, and I think that's about it.

Do they show American shows on TV in Britain?

How many TV stations do you guys have? I kinda know about paying taxes for BBC, but to tell the truth, that kinda freaks me out. It seems like if we did that here, I'd be afraid of an Orwellian dictatorship springing up.

From what little I've seen of South Park, I don't really like it much. I know why people do, but it's not for me.

Anyone remember the South Park hoax? I wonder if they'll ever do an episode about bronies for real. I'm surprised they haven't since it seems like the kind of Acceptable Targets new thing they'd jump on.

My tv watching is usually limited to "whatever happens to be on when I have the time to watch". Usually this means stuff like Pawn Stars or Iron Chef America or whatever's on the game show network. The only show I really go out of my way to watch is Leverage. I tend to watch shows on dvd or netflix or whatever after the fact rather than following them.

@Ed: I've seriously considered writing a fanfic with the ponies doing a Whose Line esque show, but I don't think it translates well into prose. I still might try it.

I love the no ads thing.

We just have PBS for that. They do have those annoying pledge drive things, but you only have to pay if you want to.

Plus, after a certain hour, can they show more stuff than they can get away with here? It's hard to do that in America till really late, cause time zones.

@JT: I'd like to see that.
