I know about Guy Fawkes Day. I mean, I read V for Vendetta.

My dad's dad also told my about this thing they had in Ireland when he was a kid that was like Halloween, only on the feast of Saint Stephen, and with dead birds. I kinda wish we had that one, to.

The have this wren, right?

And they go door to door and sing this little song about how they need money to give a funeral, and people hand out pennies or treats or something. I don't know if they have it anymore, though, cause my grandpa was a kid in, like, the 30s.

@Connie I've never heard of that.

Well, he lived in Galway. It might have only been there.

Tell the truth, I can't believe I never researched this. This is something I would know about.

Hey, this is really a real thing, apparently. My grandpa is awesome.

I'm sure Firecracker Burst loves Guy Fawkes Day.

She'd probably sabotage the fireworks so they would catch everypony on fire.

I love the internet. It's a perfect substitute for knowing everything.

It is a shame when people ask questiosn without bothering to look it up though.

Sometimes it's better to hear answers from real people with first hand knowledge, though.

The internet brought us together, after all. Maybe we should offer it a sacrifice to show our thanks. There's an old Indian burial ground I know that we could use.

I tried doing a sprite animation once, but I barely managed to get decent walking. It was impossible to draw jumping or tail movements that looked reasonable.

Yeah, I don't think I could really do anything more complicated than simple eye stuff, although it might help if I had a program that was actually meant for animating.

[up] Thanks, I've got some more non animated stuff, if you care to take a look.
