I know what you mean about the dialogue. Wilde was a great playwright, so he was good at that sort of thing. I love The Importance of Being Earnest. It's so very British and so damn funny.

I need to finish Return of the King because, to my eternal shame, this is my first time reading the LOTR books. Then I can go watch the movies, and get hyped for the Hobbit movie coming out soon.

I googled the reference. I could see that.

It's much harder to find ponified characters of classical literature, as you would have it, though. I figured that out a while ago.

@story a few pages back: That white and pink pony looks like Twinkleshine (who invited Twilight Sparkle to Moondancer's party in the first episode and was one of the original bridesmaids alongside Minuette and Lyra Heartstrings in "A Canterlot Wedding"). As for Sapphire Shores having a cutie mark, she appeared as a blank flank in the show (due to a Blooper), but her You Don't Look Like You toyline appearance

@Blissey, I've mentioned Gaz Be Moo a couple times, but Brony99 is more famous because he was just so persistent, and he was here much longer. Plus he apparently pestered people in P Ms even after leaving the thread. And yes he also said normal things, it's just that people only remember the bad parts.

My guess is that the show and toy versions of Sapphire Shores were designed separately—the most extreme cases of You Don't Look Like You have happened to ponies with the same names as G3 ponies, such as Golden
