@J Teeth, Your curves need to be straighter too. I'm using the wrong terminology or I'm not being specific enough, sorry. Basically your lines are shaky, curved or not, basically you need to be a bit steadier so that things come out less like lumps. As I've said, sketching helps.

Okay, I think "smoother" is the word you're looking for. Which is true, and it kinda sucks because my desk is cluttered and I can barely get the sketchbook to fit to start with. Will try sketching stuff when I have some more time.

Hey guys,

I've got a new fanfic idea that's giving me trouble. Thing is, it's told entirely from Raydence's (Surprise's pet human) point of view and I'm not sure what direction to go with it. Should there be an actual story or just a bunch of observations?

There should always be an actual story. What would be the point of writing it otherwise? A bunch of observations from the character's perspective might be mildly interesting but it's not enough to keep a reader intrigued. Just sprinkle them throughout the story, but make sure there's a plot of some sort.

I guess it depends on what type of observation they are. But sprinkling them throughout the story sounds like a good idea.
