I would love to see the Mane 6 have a D&D session.
AJ would be overly concerned with realism. For example, during her stint as GM, the adventurers kill the monster that's been terrorizing a village, then AJ insists that they stay behind for an entire in-game week to help rebuild the village.
Fluttershy as the GM would be so worried about making everypony happy that she'd hand out sweet loot to the PCs like free candy, so the game would end up not being the slightest bit challenging.
Fluttershy as a player would start off with her character being indistinguishable from her real-life self, but then she'd get forced into a fight and lose. At that point, it clicks for her that the events of the game don't carry any real-world consequences, and she starts making her PC act surprisingly violent and reckless.
Pagetopper.

You wanna kick mathematics? You're subtraction, I'm addition.

Fluttershy is a shoe-in for an elf cleric. Dash would be a hyper-competitive rules lawyer.

Twilight would be a horrible munchkin. I can see her trying to stop the action while she mathematically calculates the best course of action.
Nah, Dash would play a barbarian with all the points put into killing things.
I could see Fluttershy completely accidentally blundering into some ridiculously overpowered build just by picking skills and things that sound nice/friendly.
^ I think Twilight would suffer from a form of crippling overspecialization: she'd plan out her combat strategies so precisely that she couldn't adapt on the fly and start panicking as soon as the GM does something random. In other words, Pinkie Pie as GM would be her worst nightmare.

Nobody ever thinks of that one, do they?
I'm wondering, you think they have comic books in Equestria? Cause Dewey Decimal would not put up with this What Do You Mean, It's Not for Kids? bullspit.

It's been forever since I've seen that, but wasn't that one thing that couldn- oh wait, it was a better tasting muffin that couldn't be wished for :P

I'm inventing a librarian pony named Dewey Decimal now. He's curated the Canterlot Library for like a billion years and he hates everyone who touches his books.
In my mind, there's a similar pony who works deep in the bowels of Canterlot Castle, managing the archives of Equestria's legal code. He knows the code forward and backwards, and if you cross him (or, Celestia help you, fail to precisely fill out any paperwork you submit to him) he will find a half-dozen obscure laws that you broke without trying and will cite you for them.
His name is Red Tape.

Genies say you can't wish for more wishes, but for the muffin thing it was totally possible.
I like that. They're prolly drinking buddies.

The fic I'm writing right now actually involves the wishes of everypony coming true, but since they didn't know that their wishes would come true, they never put much though in to them, so it doesn't really apply here.

Well from what I've heard, in the original stories the Genies just granted wishes out of respect or boredom or fear or whatever, and there were no set limits. If you piss them off they'll just try to kill you.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

After seeing this◊ in last night's ATG gallery, I kind of want to write a fic about the Cakes being globe-trotting enemy secret agents falling in love over years of intrigue and shadowy battles and finally going on one last mission to escape their secret lives and settle down together as bakers in a little backwater town called Ponyville where no one will ever think to look for them.

@Wryte: That would make Carrot and Pumpkin the Spy Kids. I don't care that they suck, I love those things. Haven't seen the new one, tho.
Also, Mr. and Mrs. Cake.
Congrats!
