It was technically before my time, but I grew up with it anyway because my dad loved them, too.

Me and my dad have almost identical taste. We watch the same cartoons, like the same movies, and read the same books.

Once, we were talking and he brought up something about this old show he used to like where this one guy and some robots made fun of bad movies, and I was like, "Oh, you mean Mystery Science Theater 3000? I love that show." And he was like, "Seriously? How do you know about that?"

We discovered it independently of each other and both loved it.

Yeah, but only briefly. I'd like to see what they were really like.

Mostly though, I'd like to see how they all met and what their initial opinions of each other were.

Yeah, but not for very long, and only for one or two events. I mean more in terms of seeing them interacting more with other ponies and whatnot.

The CMC have really grown on me. I used to think they were just annoying, but now I really enjoy watching them interact with each other.

Anyone else manage to get their hooves on some of the free posters that Walmart has (should be at an aisle-end thing labeled Pony Power)? I got the Map of Equestria today, and I'm thinking of taping it to my closet door or somesuch.
