I liked how RD actually thought up clever battle tactics. Shows amist her Leeroy Jenkins role she can actually pick up good strategies on the fly.

I don't remember the Simpsons that well, but I can't recall how it is like this episode at all.

I still have my personal headcanon of how she got Luna out if the way for the episode:

> Luna is unsure about attending the wedding; worried she'd make a mess of it like her other social encounters
> Celestia and Cadence keep trying to convince her that she'll be fine, but she's still hesitant
> Cadence/Chrysalis switcheroo occurs
> "Cadence" has a change of heart, and is now more accepting of Luna's decision to stay away; Celestia doesn't really see a reason not to accept it as well
> Wedding occurs, Luna sleeps in
> Chrysalis and her army goes out of their way to not wake her up, for various reasons

Chrysalis was pressing her luck by taking on Celestia. Luna could carve a swath through her army, and if she managed to free her sister and fight alongside her, the whole plan could fall apart.

I prefer the Gamer Luna solution to wher she was, the wedding took place on D3 launch day, and she was busy trying to RCV the servers into working.

@Psi Really, I can only think of one moment in the whole show where Twilight could have teleported to solve the plot but didn't, and that was running from the hydra. I wouldn't say that she "tends" to forget about it conveniently at all.
