In other news, I finally got around to reading Better Living Through Science and Ponies. It's odd it took me this long, since it was one of the first prominent fics I was made aware of.

It was quite enjoyable, despite my never having played either Portal game(yes, I know, I major black mark on my gamer cred). I knew enough about the game via memes to understand everything, but I imagine it would have been better if I had actually played them.

The only thing that bugged me was the very end with Chell gaining the ability to speak. Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy a happy ending as much as the next pokemon, but I don't really care for perfect happy endings, if you know what I mean. Especially ones that fix a flaw that is one of the defining characteristic of the character in question.

Doesn't really matter why they went down a bit early. The move was done.

IIRC it came about about specifically as an attempt for the local high class to sound more refined. Which...you know...Rarity.

Ok this episode has one of my all time FAVORITE Shout Out's in the series, lets see if you catch it d, hint, pay attention the BGM.

You know, the AGGRESSIVE!Fluttershy sounds awful lot like Fluttershy under Discord's influence. How fascinating.

This whole calling herself a monster and locking herself up...where have I seen this before?

The main issue I had was repeating the scene verbatim.

If I was Future!Twilight, I would have just written down a long memo and just given it to Present!Twilight. That is certainly a lot more convenient, no?

Anyhow, this show has some guts.
