Your face is important!

Of course it is. It's where I keep my eyes and other important thingies.

Yeah it isn't exact based on that one carving, but the general descption matches fairly well.

And come on, how many shows will break out accurate myths that obscure?

There's a village in Poland named after us?

I'm honoured!

Don't forget the Wendigoes. They were obscure as well.

I'd heard of Wendigos before thanks to Warcraft3. I'd never heard of Ahuizotl.

@Lurker - *shrugs*

Oh what do you know, my little brother is now watching season 2 and is on Lesson Zero.

From the sound of it, he finds it bloody hilarious.

Can't RD just take the book home and return it to Twilight after finishing? :/

So there's this movie Jatt & Juliet, and one of its posters is FILLED with pony sketches (some of which also show up in its trailer)

Oh. My. God.

This whole RD doing things exactly as it happens in the book, in my opinion, is brilliant. The slipper and barking patient are some of the funniest things I've ever heard.

Yeah, my opinion on this episode significantly improved.

Still, could've handled better. Oh well.

That hat trick...ARE YOU S****ING ME?!

Anyhow, glad this episode is over with.

Now on to ep 17.

Teacher's day, eh?

Good God, that thing is more sparklier than Edward Cullen.

Oh, so it's a valentine day.

Twilight can't know either.

You know, what's with American cartoons and their association of apples with teachers?

It's a traditional thing that hasn't really existed in real life for the last twenty years or so.

Wikipedia. "In the 19th and early 20th century, and 21st century United States, Denmark and Sweden, a fresh, polished apple was a traditional children's gift for a teacher."

I didn't realize that the tradation existed in the last century even. Also, the part with RD blowing the fireflies out of a latern was great too.

So why did hey have ponies all over the poster? From the plot it doesn't sound like they're related at all. Did one of the artists just decide to stick ponies on the poster?

@Chadaman - Ah, I see. Thanks for the info.

And that jelly obsessed pony is included in my steadily growing list of personal ensemble darkhorses.

I never really liked this whole "Bunch of kids trying to hook people up" type of plot, but oh well. That said, I love where this is going.

I also love Cheerilee's deadpan voice.

I find these whole attempt at forced matchmaking really annoying. Whether it is Truth in Television or not, kids in fiction always assume that they know how relationships work.

[up] I can see it coming.

Oh wow, Cheerilee is amazingly Genre Savvy. Not enough, though.

You know, maybe even without the potion, they might have a chance.

They had a platonic picnic after making fun of the CMC. I thought it was obvious.

you know, the comments on this picture made me realize something.

I have yet to see a pony version of the "Shrimp are the chicken of the sea" scene from Forest Gump. With, of course, AJ as Bubba and apples instead of shrimp.

hmm...who would Gump be?

Reposting my waffle ATG sketch because I still want to know if the clarity is better from the people that were having trouble making out the previous ones.

Wait, I thought tuna were supposed to be the chicken of the sea. Though if you're going by taste, maybe something like tilapia would be better. Tuna is nasty.
