Really though, Discord was a lot more malicious in the game than he would normally be. He's the sort to mess with you, not kill you.

Speaking of Discord in fanon, I've noticed two trends: Either they turn him into Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds with a heavy Freudian Excuse or make him into Omnicidal Maniac who just wants to kill everything and enjoy every second of that.

He always struck me as Chaotic Neutral, to be honest.

@Ace. The player Punches have been impressive. The worst one for me so far was the one with Bloom's past... Wow, that was dark. The Whole World of Ruin thing was very unexpected as well.

I always saw him as Chaotic Evil. With all the Mind Rape and the complete overturning of at least everyone's lives in Ponyville there's no way I could see him as Neutral.

@Ace: When I said 'high up', I meant more that the Rodeo Arena itself must be pretty high up on the city itself to get an unobstructed view of the desert.

As Bad says, Chaotic Neutral doesn't delight in the suffering of others and in fact avoids it unless it has good reason not to.

Discord is definitely Chaotic Evil. But for him to kill you would be the kind of mercy he doesn't provide. It would be the equivalent of breaking his toys.

That said, I do think that he had a thing for Celestia. Not that you could call it real love.

Ah, It's a Rom hack of Final Fantasy 6, Relapsing the characters with ponies from MLP. It also changes dialogue to match the personalities of the characters and the fact they are now ponies, alters the story slightly, and does some bug fixes, balancing, and makes the bosses harder.

I see Discord as neither, I find both perspectives to be ridiculous, Mickeymosntsr's portrayal of him being a fun-loving goofy prankster with a sadistic streak is far more appealing because really, without all the systematic destruction of order he's really just a prankster with a lot of toys.

And I had a rough weekend of madness and cooking and I am drained absolutely, so trying to bookend it with trying to groom my Twilight Sparkle brushable
