Springer's fallen out of public view anyways. Same with Howard Stern, I don't hear about anything they do anymore.

Non-pony topper. Thread requires more Morricone.

A guy I went to college with actually had a brother audition for it. He got turned down for not being crazy enough. Yeah, most of it is scripted. People mostly go on it for the lulz.

Repost because it slipped in at the bottom of the page.

So Springer's on and he's looking for bronies? Sounds as if he's desperate to try to appear as if he is still relevant.

Journalism is just a gun. It's only got one bullet in it, but if you aim right, that's all you need.

One thing I don't get it how everypony keeps thinking Celestia is a stern tyrant despite all evidence to teh contrary.

I don't get that either. She's never really been anything other than a Reasonable Authority Figure. I guess it's just because Alternate Character Interpretation is fun. Same for Molestia, I guess.

Probably because of the whole "1000 years on the moon beyotch" thing.

Well it's not like she meant to banish her for 1000 years.

I just wanted all the build-up Twilight had for her anxiety over being late to have a meaningful pay-off. Also, after that whole {Never Going To See Twilight Again} moment, I was really looking forward to a satisfying story arc with lots of emotion.

Seeing the most of the Mane cast perform an epic jailbreak would be really cool though. But some kind of villain would have to take over for it to be necessary.

Folks act like that was terrible on Celestia's part but...we don't know the whole story...

Well, I was under the impression that Ponyville had just been flattened in the riot over the doll, so imprisonment would be reasonable.

Ponyville wasn't flattened. It happened in the park.

True dat.

Btw, who would love for a 'Equestria is invaded, defeated, conquered, mane cast go on the run, must make a rag tag army to retake it, recapture the elements and drive them out story?'

Between giant bear attacks, rampant insect swarms, and bunny stampedes, a little rioting isn't so bad.

[up][up]In theory I think it would be cool, but I'd rather see that sort of thing in a movie rather than in the show.

Yeah, but it was the fault of Twilight this time, so imprisonment is to be expected just like if a villain did it.

Darn it I just wanted a really emotional break-in break-out story arc that seemed to actually be about to happen is that so bad?

Well they didn't imprison Applejack or Snips and Snails or Derpy either.

Suuure.

Because Return Of harmony was such a two-parter of a kids show, and the pilot episode was such a kids show pilot.
