Twilight Sparkle and Pinkie Pie get in on this as well.
It's usually Twilight that Pinkie Pie goes to for advice, such as in Griffon the Brush Off and A Friend in Deed.
In Lesson Zero, Pinkie Pie nuzzles Twilight towards the end of the episode.
Getting Twilight to believe in her Pinkie Sense in Feeling Pinkie Keen was considered a 'doozie' by Pinkie Pie, so she obviously holds Twilight's opinion in high regard.
In the very first episode, Pinkie Pie has a huge reaction to Twilight's arrival. This is usually written off as Pinkie Pie's hyperactivity note . However, she's rather calm (by Pinkie Pie standards) when Cranky Doodle Donkey first arrives in town in A Friend in Deed, meaning Twilight was probably the exception. Love at First Sight perhaps?

Three out of four of these are just "Pinkie likes Twilight, " there's no indication of romantic feelings there at all.

Shipping Goggles at work. But yeah, I'd agree that aside from the nuzzling one, those barely even qualify as Ship Tease. It's hardly as obvious as "You don't have to hide your feelings from me" or stuff like that.

@Sereg I was referring to the fact that Cheerilee gave a long, metaphorical explanation of what her mark meant and represented. She didn't say "my mark means , " like she would have if marks had literal meaning. That's a pretty important detail to completely skip when teaching children about cutie marks and how they work.

Yeah, the fact that Twilight actually bothered to wipe it off when most cartoons wouldn't even bother is one of those details that makes me love this show.

@Ace Twilight is known for being obsessive about hygiene? That's news to me. If anyone, it's Rarity that has a thing about cleanliness, and even that isn't to the extent of germaphobia.

@Ace I wouldn't call that obsessive. If she was obsessive, she would have forced Thunderlane out of the group for safety reasons (which would have actually averted the crisis, ironically).
