Ah, since Surprise has such a different personality I thought the cutie mark might be different. I suppose you can still have the same talent and be a very different person though.
So, what's going on, my bronies?
ZABUNGAH
I don't even know what my special talent is. I was born with my cutie mark.
Favorite foods: carrots, oats, sausage and gravy...
@JT Well, she is a happy-stir.

@Lurker: So in G1, ponies are born with their talents? So much for self-discovery.
@JT Surprise in Moe's fic is literally Surprise straight out of G1, IIRC and that's how the ponies worked back then.
No, that old cartoon was full of lies and misinformation. Cutie Marks work the same everywhere. Just I was somehow born with mine. That's how I got my name.

My head canon is that the same cutie mark can represent a lot of different talents. How else do you explain Twilight and Photo Finish, or the plethora of duplicate marks among bg ponies?
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
@Surprise Ah, my mistake. I just thought that it was that way with the whole Dream Valley and humans thing.
@Blue - No. That's my distant-distant-distant cousin. Superprise.
@Lurker - That's okay, lots of people get fooled by the old cartoon.

Does this mean that you were born out of a magic mirror?

@Mio: I'm, like, 90% certain that they did point those things out to her before trying to annoy the information out of her, and it didn't work. I'd have to watch again to be 100%, though.
Dup marks meaning different things? Then I wonder what that white stallion Orion's mark means.
Don't make me fire Pinky's party cannon.
