Okay, I'm back. I played with the Equestrian civ, and here's what I think: Equestria is a strangely militaristic civ in this mod.

Basically, Celestia has a special ability that makes it easier to have more cities (therefore making it easier to hold on to the cities you capture), you get free horses pretty early on (by way of a recruitment office, allowing you to build knights and stuff really quick), and finally, they get the Wonderbolts. The Wonderbolts are basically jet fighters that use up horses instead of oil. So, yeah, pretty fun, but it's also just a bit weird that Celestia is so good at warmongering.

One of my favorite foods is Chinese Chicken and Broccoli. I like Broccoli in general, even since I was a kid.

I was a weird kid, I liked vegetables even though we rarely had them because they were too expensive. Its funny when you are poor you can afford all the food thats bad for you... but not stuff thats good for you like fruits and vegetables.

Well monarchies are good at warmongering. Should have gone with democracy.

In other news I found out that asian carp can jump 10 feet in the air and way up to 40lbs. I guess Dwarf Fortress is more realistic than I thought.

I suppose at my hypothetical wedding I might try to get them to play Tonight we Fly by the Divine Comedy, The Sound of the City Night by The Pogues, or Under the Milky Way.

Im assuming youve seen the videos of guys driving boats and the Asian Carp just flinging themselves out of the water all around it?

No I found out about that just now. And it is shameful how much more expensive healthy food is. I think part of the problem is our horrible farm subsidy system that makes corn sugar so cheap.

Part of it is most certainly the corn subsidies.

Ive read both The Omnivore's Dilemma and Twinkie Deconstructed, and its amazing how just about everything you eat orignates from corn in one way or another.

Vegetable tempura would be, I think.

Because corn is awesome.

Eating reasonably healthy isn't expensive. You just have to have self control.

I dunno when I was a kid we ate a crapload of pasta, and peanut butter and Jelly. I remember not having anything to eat in the house at one point so my dad made onion sandwiches to take to work.

We got a lot of food bank stuff and it was almost always processed food products that lasted forever. They didnt give out vegetables or anything back then because they were too perishable. I think things today are a bit different, or at least changing.

I get Coke from Mexico that has cane sugar in it (supposedly) it does taste better but it may be psychosomatic (probably using that word wrong). I probably couldnt tell the difference in a blind taste test.

Mexican Squirt soda on the other hand... OMG

@Apple I get cane sugar sodas all the time, and they are indeed awesome. I wouldn't call them "orgasmic", though.

Coke made with cane sugar is indeed fantastic. It's a sight better than the corn syrup stuff they force down our throats just about anywhere you look.

@Story: I'm more surprised that Fancy pants and IRON WILL have the same voice actor.

That guy has range.

Well, if Pinkie and Fluttershy can share a voice actress, I guess anything is possible.
