Morning everyone. Lemon-poppy seed is clearly the tastiest of muffins. I've seen bits of Cowboy Bebop here and there, I found it pretty enjoyable. Of course, I say one of favorite series would be Kino's Journey.

Morning. I rather liked Kino's Journey too. Not as much as I liked Haibane Renmei, but it was close.

Afternoon!

Evening!

An anime discussion, well I haven't read any manga in ages and I don't really watch anime anymore. I should make a list and get back to a bunch of stuff. Need to finish FMA, Ouran High School Host Club, and Gash Bell, get back to One Piece, start up on Fairy Tail again, same with Hunter × Hunter, Soul Eater, Shugo Chara, History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, maybe Nabari no Ou.... And since Shaman King apperently has a real ending now i should go look at that.... Hmm, suppose I have a ton to back to now that I think about it. No wonder I've been procrastinating.

I've got an idea on a future episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. An idea that is so crazy, it might work. That idea is...a funeral episode with Granny Smith!

Here's how I think it would go: Apple Bloom, Applejack, and Big Mac are doing their usual apple-picking, and they find it weird how Granny Smith has been taking longer naps than usual. Big Mac goes and checks on her. He lets out a cry that brings the other two over to find...Granny Smith in her rocking chair, dead!

Then you have the news spread quickly throughout Ponyville and beyond. A funeral is held for Granny Smith, and you have her family members, and citizens of Ponyville attending it. Celestia even appears there, too. Big Mac is uncharacteristically breaking down in huge tears, Applejack is very stoic, and Apple Bloom is in shock. You then have a number of ponies remembering their interactions with Granny Smith, like Rainbow Dash getting whacked in the face by Granny's purse. Her story from "Family Appreciation Day" gets a mention, and the fact that she spoke in mostly unintelligible gibberish before speaking coherently gets mentioned too.

Apple Bloom is receiving condolences from several of her peers...then Diamond Tiara comes up. DT makes rude comments and says that Equestria is a better place without that "kooky old lady". This causes AB to come out of her shock, and get into a fight with DT in front of everypony. AB then gives her "The Reason You Suck" Speech, saying that DT is only rich and living here in Ponyville because of Granny Smith, and GS has more courage, decency, style and class than DT can ever hope to get. Filthy Rich ends up having to take DT out of there. Silver Spoon decides not to go with Diamond Tiara, because she wants to pay her respects to GS.

You could even have another episode that focuses on the implications that result from GS's death. Namely, Apple Bloom will have to handle the rituals with the Zap Apple Jam, and that is going to take some practice!

What's topic? Hmm it don't seem to be pony related.

I just noticed that Cheerilee is similar to Miss Go from Kim Possible, you know Shego turned good. Now in my head I have supervillain Cheerilee you is competent and snarky sidekick for evil genius and shoot plasma from her hooves.

I don't think they'd make Granny Smith's death as cliched or as melodramatic as all that.

Also, if I had to hazard a guess, they would only make that Very Special Episode is a prominent (possibly former) member of the production staff kicks the bucket.

@Tiggers: I'd love to see an episode dealing with loss like that, as I feel that it's important to address such topics. However, It could be difficult to pull off without going down the "very special episode" route.
