@Pacific State: Inorite?! It gets even better later on, if you're still in the middle of reading it. There are some very poignant moments in there - especially the end of the first chapter.

I can't wait to get to the Vinyl Scratch tapes now, but I want to finish Progress first.

As far as I understand the Lesson Zero plot is a tossup between "Twilight panics because she doesn't have a lesson" and "Twilight panics because she can't find the gift she wanted to send the princess along with the lesson"

Please excuse the interruption; bad business, I'm afraid.

It has been brought to my attention that Ponibooru hosts pornography of underage characters. Is this true? If so, it may not be appropriate to link to that site from here. As I do not have an account there, I can't verify this off-hand.

(Not sure of the exact rules regarding non-pornographic links on sites that host porn, e.g. Danbooru, so this may be a false alarm, but it may well not be.)

Er... I think the mane six, while having ill-defined ages, are mostly estimated to be college-age. The Cutie Mark Crusaders are definitely underage, but I don't remember ever seeing any porn of them.

Is the problem with us linking to the site. period? Or is it linking specifically to the pornographic content?

Cuz I don't think any of us do the latter

there's a filter system on Ponibooru. Unless you're a member it automatically filters out the porn anyway

^^ I'd assume the same (though I'm aware that filly versions of the mane characters exist, since they appear in canon). Also might make a difference whether we're talking about ponies or humanized versions thereof.

Basically, I want to be able to give an accurate description of the problem to the other mods. This is potentially a very serious issue, but I don't want to do anything rash.

I don't recall anyone linking directly to NSFW sites (on Poonibooru, anyway, and the few NSFW Ask blogs I've linked to have been marked as such and featuring clearly adult characters), nor do I recall offhand if Ponibooru hosts stuff like that. I don't use it much, though.

^Forum rules are generally that NSFW links have to be tagged.

I don't know if I'll abandon Ponibooru - I generally troll the site with the filter on anyway - but I'm definitely not happy with it right now.

The forum rules are actually that NSFW images must be tagged and that linking to pornography is right out, tagged or otherwise.

We'll keep y'all posted on any administrative rulings regarding links to Ponibooru itself.

And yes, Ponibooru is slow as fuck.
