I spoiled myself and looked up how to get the Spur, but even then, I could only get to Ballos's third form at best.

Then I gave up, because screw navigating the death spikes of doom and the hallway of falling blocks.

Yeah, I saved Curly. Thank god I finally got the Booster 2 and the Spur. You don't even know how many times that I wished I had the machine gun.

Also, how does not talking to the Professor after he falls from 50 feet in the air help him survive?

I actually got pretty good at the final cave for a while. After getting to the Doctor, I realized that I was probably not prepared, so I actually went through it backwards to get the second to last HP upgrade and the chicken gun.

If you talk to him, he can die happily in the knowledge there's another hero to take up the fight. If you don't, he's more motivated to try to survive.

Shall I share ballos tips?

In phase one he always moves towards you. ALWAYS, This leads to him moving in a predictable rectanglar, Just make sure to time your jumps to his landings. His lightning is also fairly easy to dodge so DONT STAND STILL. Don't waste your rockets here, save them for the final phase
Phase Two he also always moves towards you. Count to 3 and he stops for a little while. Make sure to use the booster to switch sides on him. Also, when he is still, you can stand in his eye and shoot him.
Phase 3, Make sure to hit the open eyes, He always rolls clockwise around the room so be sure not to get hit. also DID YOU SAVE YOUR HEALTH JAR? YOU MIGHT NEED IT NOW
Phase 4, Violation of common sense phase, If you have more than halfish of your health stand underneath the fucker (That's right you should stand in the spikes.) and blast him away with your rockets/Nemesis. If not hop on the platforms and blast away, pray you don't get hit. Also more skilled players can use the invulnerability timer to jump in his eye socket and spam the rockets button but YMMV.
