is and haven't checked some of the other threads yet, she'll be doing shorts for Cartoon Network's DC block starring Batgirl, Supergirl, and Wonder Girl.

Ginger: I think it was originally listed at $150, which was quoted as cost of materials only. There was probably quite a bit of labour involved. Because these people are going nuts, he's going to be well paid.

At that price I'd also rather learn to make my own. I would, of course, make a Twi and then never part with her.

I'm not sure, but I think toywise, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash are probably the most marketable because of their colouring.

I'm sure of one thing. Mane Cast is most popular, more than any backgroud, even Derpy.

If you go by the amount of fanart on Ponibooru, Pinkie Pie has more fanart than any other character, followed by Rainbow Dash. I actually had a chart somewhere of the relative numbers of pictures, but I have no clue where I put it. I think it was Pinkie, RD, Fluttershy, Twilight, Applejack, and Rarity in that order if I remember right.

I know the EqD poll had Fluttershy, Pinkie, Dashie, Twi, Applejack, Rarity as the order, but that sample pool was also pretty small. What I have noticed from my (also admittedly rather small pool of) observations is people do tend to fight harder for Fluttershy plushies than any of the others. Dashie plushies seem to be a bit more popular than Pinkie plushies too, so... I guess people like pegasi?

It makes a lot of sense if there's a lot of popularity variety. People often like characters that they can identify with (or opposite characters), and there's a crapton of diversity in this show.

Fluttershy is one of my faves but I'm also one of those people that would take all that is "moe" and make it burn. I don't like the association of a character I do like with something I want destroyed.

I think fluttershy is a moe character done right. She has all the elements I like about them, but none of the things I despise about characters like Mikuru.

She's a finely sculpted statue of moe, not a blob of the stuff

I think it helps that Fluttershy has a very pleasant voice. Cutesy characters can have horrible squeaky voices.

Let's not speak of.... Asahina.... Never before have I met a character that almost ruined a book series for me since Haruhi herself.

But let us not speak of such unpleasantries, You and I shall never agree, I dislike moe no matter what, and you seem fine with it. Instead let of speak of the positives like Twilight, Spike, and Fluttershy.

You know, I almost by principle never like the main character of a show.

I think it's because main characters are often bland, making the side characters have personalities.
