To be honest, there are a lot of word combinations that could sound like pony names. Or even just single words that could sound like pony names.

Hell, my friend made a pun sound like a pony name yesterday.

Him: So, what, horseshoes on a sun = 'skywalker?'

Me: Well, yeah. The horseshoes were supposed to be made of clouds, but that looked like crap. Why?

Him: I dunno, I would have expected, like, Lucky Day, or something.

Me: Huh. That's actually a pretty good name.

I think the Dallas Mavericks should do a crossover with MLP. One of their mascots is a horse named Champ. Characterize that silt!

[up]seems redundant on a pegasus, doesn't it?

"What's your special talent?"

"Uh...being a pegasus?"

To be fair, pony names don't always match up with their special talent.

If they did...

Applejack: Drunkard

Scootaloo: ...The fuck?

Sweetie Belle: Constantly nice to everyone ever no matter what

Pinkie Pie: The ability to be pink?

Skywalker was a part of the band "Katrina and the Wings" for their hit song "Walking on Sunshine".

I took a guess and cut a portion out of my heart.

"Sunshine Walker" could also be a pony.

My experience with MLP: Fi M:

I'd been seeing all these adorable pony avatars and memes all over here, The Escapist, and even other more obscure, independent forums, and they got me incredibly curious. So, after much nervous stalling and procrastinating, I decided to watch the first 2 episodes

My heart melted. It melted into candy and rainbows

Before I watched it, I was expecting it to be Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends mixed into a big pot. And it kind of was, but in a good way. The characters are fun, the animation is superb, the comedy (while I thought to sometimes be hit or miss) is really funny when it gets it right, and of course, it's cuter than kittens, bunnies and puppies flying on a magic carpet shooting rainbows, sunshine, smiley faces and candy

That said, there were a few things did bother me though, like the fact that they kept using words like "somepony", "everypony" and "anypony" in replacement for "somebody", "everybody" and "anybody". I know it's there to make it more cutsie and I can understand why they did it, but it came off as random and a bit annoying to me. Also, like I said earlier, the jokes are also a little hit or miss, there were some jokes I just kind of chuckled awkwardly at. I also didn't care for the plot, but apparently the plot kind of fades away in the later episodes anyway

Besides those minor annoyances, I can't say there's anything to complain about. It would seem that the pwny brainwashing is just too strong for me. Hell, I'm probably gonna get my own MLP avatar. To hell with my masculinity, I have Led Zeppelin for that

You only watched the first two episodes?

Oh, you poor dear. This must be remedied.

You must watch at least Applebuck Season and Sonic Rainboom. Bridle Gossip and Swarm of the Century are also recommended.

You must!

You must...

Yeah, if you liked the first two episodes that much, there's pretty much no way you're not hooked now.

Now, now, we don't want a repeat of Green Isn't Your Color...

Let me explain: what I did was download the episodes off of iTunes just today (mainly because I wanted to watch them to kill time on my really long ride to school, and the first episode was free) and watched it on my iPod on the transport to school

Since I got back, I've been searching about all the stuff related to the show, which brought me here. I'll get to the later episodes very soon, don't worry

As an interesting side note, when I finished the episodes on my iPod, I decided to listen to some music. Wanna guess what the first song that came up on shuffle was?

With a Little Help From My Friends

I never smiled bigger in all my life

Only thing that'd be better would be if it were followed by "Dig A Pony".

Lol, that would've been perfect if I had it XD

As for the AMV, that's exactly what I was thinking while listening to the song. I would make it myself, but 1: the only editing software I have at the moment sucks whale testicles (WMM, if anyone asks), and 2: my AM Vs are way, way different in tone and mood than a Beatles/MLP AMV. And that I haven't seen any episodes besides 1 and 2 yet, but that kind of goes without saying

If we had more scenes of Pinkie's childhood/family, I'd make an AMV set to Amish Paradise. Or at least try to.

So, who's up to making a Fi M AMV set to With a Little Help From My Friends? C'mon, don't tell me you can't imagine this song with Fi M:

I would, but I don't have the skills/knowhow to do that sort of thing. I'm questionable enough as it is making videos for the internet, less so if I were to try to get the video necessary to make them myself.
