I totally agree that that series has way too much fanservice, but I do think that until about 3/4ths of the way through, it honestly has pretty good character writing. Yeah, the ending was pretty bad, but I hardly consider most of the series to be crap. The main issue is the crappy ending means that most of the long-running subplots don't have a satisfactory resolution. But let's not derail this any further.

@Gex: I can understand why you might dislike giant cans (I personally think Buxom Is Better is a load of crap; I tend to like boobs that are more in the B-range), but I don't think merely having large breasts is reason to tag it as suggestive.

Nevermind, it's something else. But NGE has been giving to kids before. It's just totally inappropriate for a different reason.

Well, we can it's just a question of whether we should.

[up][up]I've always wondered what happened with that kid after his parents realized what kind of show it was...

Yeah, this is the place for derails. Dr Crane is pretty cool by the way.

Yeah, he is in all three of the movies.

It's weird, though, because the Scarecrow is really ugly in the comics, and he's played by Cillian Murphy in the movie, and that man is really just unfairly pretty.

Odd, I don't remember him in The Dark Knight. I must not have been paying attention.

He's pretty funny in that one. I tried to find the clip, but it's not out yet, I guess.

He's just in the first scene of The Dark Knight, though.

By the way, I just noticed that Cillian Murphy is listed as a trope on the main page of Girl With A Pearl Earing. I don't think it's supposed to be there, but it's pretty funny.

No, you don't understand.

Cillian Murphy is a trope.

So I watched more Doctor Who. I still haven't gotten around watching the Ninth Doctor's episodes, due to losing interest for a while. I don't know, I feel weirdly conflicted about this series. Something about the Doctor rubs me the wrong way sometimes.

And also playing Black Mesa takes time too.

I really need to start getting into Doctor Who, I really do.

By the way...

Have we cleaned up the aftermath from Page 666?

I frickin love Doctor Who though.

It is one of my favorite things.

[up][up] And I see that you're everywhere and nowhere right now. [lol] Just noticed that.

Speaking of Black Mesa, I need to get around to playing the original Half-Life sometime.

It's a quote from Deus Ex. The full quote was:

"I will be nothing you've ever seen, a new life-form, everywhere and nowhere, like air or radiation, redundant, self-replicating, always evolving..."

I figured it was a quote from something else, but it reminded me of an obscure quote from Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.

Cookie is being a total spaz and trying to seem all Badass, and he's all, "I'm everywhere... and... nowhere... Sometime at the same time... sometimes one... after... the other..." It was pretty funny.

Did you ever watch that show?

Of course I did! And yes, I remember that scene.

I remember back then, when it was popular. I don't watch Nickelodeon anymore. Don't like the new shows.

Urg, I don't like new Nick either.

Yeah, Ned's Declassified was awesome. Also, I want to get into Half-Life starting from the series' beginning. Should I buy the original game or Black Mesa from Steam?
Back in Black, and by black I mean BLU.

I have the original. Don't know about Black Mesa.

I think it's good though.

I believe that you have to buy Half-Life and download the Black Mesa, which is free. I am not sure.

The new Spongebob episodes just seem like the creators are trying to cram in everything they can past the radar.
