OK, glad to know I didn't miss anything.

Pedantry.
As I find so much pleasure in that melts like my breath, I am always full of regret.

I have nothing against pedantry by itself.

It's 50% of what we do here.

But that? That's not art, that's just boring.

Heard of it, haven't seen it. From what I've heard the story is pretentious BS but the visuals are really nice. I might watch it just for the eye candy, but it doesn't seem likely.

Even the visual is, while better than average, not worth wading through brainshutting boredom. Jesus would preach about pretentiousness and use this film as an example.

Honestly, Friendship Is Magic has the better visual.

Well I've reached a good stopping point on my other project, so time to start reading Homestuck! What am I in for?

@condottiera - I know, right?

@story - The beginning can be a bit tedious, but it picks up in about...few hundreds pages, I think.

I've slid rather out of the loop during this summer drought, but I just noticed our character sheet's section on Doctor Whooves Time Turner, and now I can't stop grinning.

What is Sburban Aria? Is it a remix with Homestuck music or something?

@story - Yes, this is the original music. I like it a lot.

Just to let you know, the girl (her name is Rose) is not doing some kind of funky dance.

It's a mashup of Sburban Jungle with the vocals of This Day Aria

I haven't seen all the movies that were nominated for Best Picture that year, but the ones I did see, I liked.

By the way, did you ever notice how the end of the description for Ordinary People?

See also: How Green Was My Valley and Crash.

That is a righteous burn. [lol]

Random, but I've been seeing the o3o emoticon more recently, and it seems to always remind me of Dave's brother's naked puppets

All three of those movies are famous for winning Best Picture thanks to an Award Snub.

Ordinary People beat out Raging Bull, How Green Was My Valley beat out Citizen Kane, and Crash just wasn't that great.

[up] Don't you know anything about jazz? Jeez!

But, yeah, I am really good at movie trivia. The Stinger to that article is a Stealth Insult.

I knew about How Green Was My Valley but I didn't know the other two, and O Rdinary People didn't mention anything about the Award Snub.

Also, Homestuck is going to take forever to read since I have to look up all these movie references.
