I don't know about your college, but mine had a brony meetup last fall.

My school has scheduled the student union building for a screening of the brony documentary when it comes out.

Buck yeah. Every school needs to do that. Kids are schadenfreude nowadays, maybe they wouldn't be to us if they had a little more info.
Back in Black, and by black I mean BLU.
Well in my case its college, but same difference.
That's more awesome than mine. Mine isn't officially allowed to reserve rooms even.

When's the documentary coming out anyway?
I feel like I could touch the heavens, and sock angels.
Element of Indecision.
@Bluespade
I didn't expect myself to start watching.

Last I heard, it is coming out later this fall. (Or spring for you Southern hemisphere people).
Yeah, I wouldn't hug this, let alone get near it. Unless you wanna be a Yamask, then by all means go for it.
In the southern hemisphere, they use the same months but the seasons are reversed, right?

Why do I associate Pinkie Pie with the
door gunner from Apocalypse Now?
I mean, last I checked he wasn't a horse, and Pinkie hasn't killed 157 civilians while laughing her head off.
I knew it was a bad idea to read (an MST of) Cupcakes before watching the actual show. I can't get that image out of my head of her just laughing: "Ain't war hell?"
What makes it worse is that now I'm starting to think of Celestia as
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman. And it is hilarious.

I read Cupcakes before entering the fandom, and can't really remember it :P (splitting my attention between it and a lesson at school probably had something to do with it)
Okay, now I'm starting to compare
Apocalypse Now with MLP.
Biggest. Contrast. Ever.

I've never seen
Apocalypse Now, but
Heart of Darkness was terrible.

Hi. What's up?
But they seem to
know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.
Then went down the line of other choices. Fuuuuuuck.

I consider "A Bird in the Hoof" to be Fluttershy's inflated ego episode, and "A Friend in Deed" to be Pinkie's, as those are the episodes where they start to get arrogant about their abilities until their usual tactics begin failing hard. Really, I saw the context of the Smile song as "They're setting her up for a big fall..."
Or maybe Applejack hits her Limit Break and NEVER NEEDS TO REST AGAIN!!!
