My sister has compiled a list of names she hates. I think they're just people she dislikes though.
I feel like I could touch the heavens, and sock angels.

If I ever find a girl, and have a kid with her, and it snows on its birth, the baby's a girl, and we (My girl and I) agree with it...

I'm totally naming my kid "Yuki".

Some years ago, I read about a mother who named her child Urhines Kendall Icey Eight Special K. Urhines is pronounced "Your highness."

I read that as "Your Hiney".

Which is waaaay funnier.

"Boy, do Americans come up with terrible names for their kids. "
They have NOTHING on the USSR.

@Gex: At least Jacob is a regular enough name that people probably won't immediately associate it with the book. Bella is uncommon enough that one is going to assume it's a reference.

That's a very bad idea.
It's not OK to have cybersex in the nunnery!

And this is the kind of place where we have to tell people that. Welcome.

At least it's better than the hundreds of Bellas out there. So many Bellas. 400 Bellas!
Powerthirst reference?
I took a guess and cut a portion out of my heart.
He said, "That's nowhere close enough, but it's a damn good start."

[up]Yep.

"Feed your Bellas Rawberry, and they'll wanna hook up with the first sparkling dude they see! If they come home with a vampire or shiny Pokemon, we're not held responsible for any actions that may occur."

It's only if you feed it Rawberry, for some strange reason. Feeding it Shocolate gives your Bella the standard Powerthirst effects.

I just checked out the Grimm thread to see what people thought of Monday's Season 2 premiere. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. No one's posted there since December. It's just dust and cobwebs now. How sad. sad

I watch Grimm Syd, I havent gotten to see the Season 2 premier yet though. I will probably get to watch it tomorrow night if Im lucky.

The first season was good, started off a bit slow and formulaic (new monster to fight each episode... )but It got way better towards the end.

I think Grimm is really hitting its stride now. It looks like they're going with multi-episode story arcs now, instead of wrapping things up neatly at the end of each episode.

Man that round in Who Knows Where with the two anklegators is vicious. One always hits you while you're dodging the other. Also, how the heck are they supposed to tunnel underground when there is no ground? I've seen them go through the empty spaces between planks.

Dear makers of Bastion, it'd be really nice if there was a way to find out the controls.

Just look in the options like in any game.

But some of the controls aren't in the options!

Post of the Day #105

I've read Cupcakes. It wasn't that bad in my opinion. In the sense that it Crosses the Line Twice. It was a bad for a bit then it just got funny. It was horribly written and the one that I read was the edited version so I have no idea how badly written the original was.

Well fortunately, it seems to be fading. Back in early 2011, it was everywhere.
