So Fluttershy is older than Pinkie, but how old is everyone exactly? I get the feeling Rarity is the oldest.

Heh. I like that fact that Pinkie's contains a hallucinogen. That seems appropriate.

Faust says that they're all in their late teens - around 17 or 18. Personally, though, for all of them living on their own, and Twilight being a college student, I'd say they're closer to their early 20's/ Fluttershy actually seems the most autanamous, so I'd call her the oldest, maybe around 21 or 22? Applejack and Rarity both seem as mature as her, running their own businesses, so They're probably about the same age. Pinkie Pie we know is a year younger, so call her 20...I'm not sure who to call youngest, Dash or Twilight. Dash is a drop-out, so could easily be in her late teens, starting work early, and has the personality for it, but she was also made the leader of the weather team, so she's obviously respected...'d call her 19, maybe? Twilight is still in her studies, but was clearly a good ways in to them, so I'm thinking she's maybe 19 or 20 herself.

Given how unrelated maturity and physical age can be, it's really very hard to tell.

That's a good point, but I was thinking maturity more in terms of their duties, not how they act. Mature or not, you wouldn't give someone young control of a whole farm (Though I think she's only partially responsible for it, what with Big Mac), and Rarity owns a fairly sizable store/house combo, meaning that she would have had to worked pretty well before starting it, unless her parents are fairly wealthy. I suppose, though, thinking like that the only real source of comparison is between Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie.

I think Twilight is more of a grad student, and that Fluttershy acts younger than her actual "age".

Spike is 14 or 15. Rarity is his very first crush. I can't wait for the back story episode! I want to know if Dash is originally from Cloud city.

They aren't human, or even from our realm of reality, so there's no reason to expect years to correlate to mental and/or physical maturity the way they do for us.

For instance, our horses reach full maturity in five years, and on average only live until their late 20s.
