I've only played the 4th and 5th games. Though they were pretty awesome. I don't like the looks of the video for some reason though.

I do kinda wonder if someone has mixed this series with Mortal Kombat. Bloody pony's everywhere....

Great, now I have the image in my mind of Flutterage ripping out someone's spine. I have weird idea's sometimes.

They really dropped the ball this episode. It was decent up until Spike met the teenage Dragons, then what should have only taken up a scene or two ended up clogging the rest of the episode.

I liked the episode, but I agree — the teenage dragons part was the least interesting part of it, and it was the one which dragged the most.

Plus, I was kinda hoping that we would get some background as to why Spike's egg ended up being an entrance exam for the School for Gifted Unicorns...

But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.

The second least good episode of the show, in my opinion. Right behind Mare-Do-Well.

Pretty much nothing happened in the episode. They could have cut everything after the moment we saw those teenage dragons for the first time, and we'd have missed nothing.

It's one of better ones in this season in my opinion.

Spike Egg wasn't really part of exam but secret test for Twilight.

"Putting Your Hoof Down" was saved from being really bad by the virtue of the really funny Iron Will jokes.

This episode had no such saving grace. Bad pacing, bad characterisation, bland jokes.

Merriwether Williams, I denounce thee! I hereby declare that "Heart's Warming Eve" was only a lucky shot where thy exaggerated characters worked because it was all a play! Write no more, and leave this show be!
