Not hating on this show, it's just mainly something I only watch if I'm bored and notice it's on. That being said, if that marathon is tomorrow I might just be bored all afternnoon.

Honestly, I tend to appreciate the fandom more than the show itself. The show is good, certainly; but what's awe-inspiring to me is the amount of fanwork (some of which is of impressive quality) that it generates.

But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.

Yeah, and hopefully the CMC will somehow have to find the money to hire a team of plumbers and technicians to fix everything that was knocked out of place.

@Carci: I think what draws me in is the design/colors. I don't mean to sound like a douchy "Whoa, this would be cool on acid, bruh!" but just the way everything looks does remind me of a really cool video game I am either yet to play/wish existed. But yes, the fandom is quite impressive, especially considering how bronies seem to slowly become more mainstream among nerds.

Nah, Big Mac's not a Kryptonion. He's not strong enough nor does he have the super speed to be one. I'd figure he's just a ~~meta-human~~ meta-pony of some sort.

Well going by the shipping, apparently we think they're constantly copulating too, so it all evens out.

Anyway, I've been holding out of this thread for a few days to not spoil the episode. Saw it a couple hours ago and it was adorable

Sweetie setting them up with the picnic was just amazing.

Still, I'm sure the Internet will have a field day with Hugh Jelly and the sex pit at the end. I mean really, pony team, how the hell did you get away with that o_0

As far as Cheerilee and Mac hooking up for real at the end, I hope it actually sticks and they show them, like, visibly together and somehow impacting the story in later episodes instead of Simpsons-ing it and acting like it never happened. Lasting effects are a preciously rare thing in cartoons.

That's actually one of the reasons I would rather Mac hooked up with Fluttershy or something. We see so little of Mac and Cheerilee already that they're even less likely to have screen time at the same time.

I am always going to advocate the pairing of Mac and Cherilee.

It is not the best combination, nor is it the most entertaining, nor is it the cutist, nor is it the one that the fans prefer, but it is the one that has the best chance of becoming canon.

That's the thing though, being canon doesn't always mean being noticeable. Took over a year for rescuing an immortal god-princess from murderous psychosis to have a frontstage consequence on the show.
