How is that not some sort of metaphor about "crossbreeding", or, to use the terminology or 21th century racists, against "miscegenation"?
Because it's less tones of "dem mulattoes" and more tones of
"Patchwerk wanna play."

So, they think that we're constantly copulating?
Well going by the shipping, apparently we think they're constantly copulating too, so it all evens out.
Anyway, I've been holding out of this thread for a few days to not spoil the episode. Saw it a couple hours ago and it was
adorable
Sweetie setting them up with the picnic was just amazing.
Still, I'm sure the Internet will have a field day with Hugh Jelly and the sex pit at the end. I mean really, pony team, how the hell did you get away with that o_0
As far as
Cheerilee and Mac hooking up for real at the end, I hope it actually sticks and they show them, like, visibly together and somehow impacting the story in later episodes instead of Simpsons-ing it and acting like it never happened. Lasting effects are a preciously rare thing in cartoons.
That's actually one of the reasons I would rather Mac hooked up with Fluttershy or something. We see so little of Mac and Cheerilee already that they're even less likely to have screen time at the same time.
