Please, if the aliens found out about ponies, only certain members of their society would like it, while the rest would either hate it because they don't like it, or because some of the members of their race that like it try to force it down their throats (if they have any), not care about it, or just simply wonder why members of their society outside of the target klarbokp group watch it.

Man that article is stupid. Sometimes, I just can't belive how dumb some people are.
They aren't. It's satire. Not a kind of satire I particularly enjoy — impersonating one's political opponents and having them act as total loons seems in bad taste to me — but still, it's definitely a hoax.
I would advise against reading the comments, though.
