Wow, I really think today's episode may hae made TV history. I know I'm probably being overdramatic, but I don't think I've ever seen an instance where fans have had so much input as to what makes it into a show.

I highly doubt that. In all honesty, I think dash ending up in the hospital will be because of her own stupidity. As much as I love Rainbow Dash, she can be a bit of a dumbass at times.

Seriously? I thought Cannon Derpy was adorable. Tabitha did a great job of voicing her.

Everything is always going to get negative reception when you get something new. It's to be expected. No big.

I though Derpy was hilarious as well. I don't think she sounds retarded; she just has a dopey voice and is a bit clumsy. No need for Unfortunate Implications.

Loved the episode, and about darn time Applejack got one!

You know, I was really worried about that when they announced the episode. On watching it, I just don't feel that way. I guess I have a taste for storylines that look at the protagonist from the outside — it's a really tricky perspective to pull off, but with AJ trying to be that standoffish and guarded it would feel thematically wrong for the camera to be following her around too much, even if the reasons why were pretty transparent to a remotely savvy audience.

Actually, I kind of wish they'd use that approach for Twilight just once. With her as the (former) series protagonist, she's the one we supposedly know the best. Painting her as an unknown with a few secrets of her own would be very unsettling and has the potential to be a really effective dramatic device.

The "hole in our hearts" line was delicious. From anyone but Fluttershy it would have been cringeworthy, but from her it's just...right. Fluttershy's allowed to say unbelievably sappy things

The "hole in our hearts" line just came across to me as Flutters being Flutters, so I knew it was genuine coming from her.

Everything is cuter with fluttershy.

Apparantly the yellow stallion that was standing next to Twilight is getting popular.

^Seems that way, but I've heard rumors that the people who ship him with Twilight are actully just a handful of people trying to put more straight pairings in the fandom. Considering how vocul some shippers tend to be, I wouldn't be too surprised if this was actully true.

Also, fans keep comparing that pony to Millhouse.

I'm trying to stay away from spoilers... Although, I didn't actually read anything in a spoiler tag, so there's that.

I guess I'm just being a spaz. I was watching "Family Appreciation Day" on Friday, and I got into a fight with a friend of mine and I lost my desire to finish watching it.

Sometime's it's hard to Love and Tolerate some people.
