That song is duking it out with "At the Gala" to be my favorite.

Adorable episode, and I LOVED the amazing steampunk tortoise. That was just too clever.

On one hand, tortoise confirmed for pet! On the other, I was a bit sad that the bat didn't win after its Theme Tune Cameo performance.

I saw the winner coming from a mile away...

The song seemed like padding to me.

Just watched the new episode. Adorable! But

• Dash saying to Twilight that she does not have what it takes to be her pet. This one really does not want to know what fanfiction writers will do with this phrase
• Really, what would have happened if some creature got seriously hurt in that race? It was rather cruel, you know
• Why was Rainbow Dash panicking anyway? She was not stuck in the canyon for that long - for less time than it took to finish the race. Everyone knew fully well where she went, and navigating the canyon is not that difficult if one is not racing through it at full speed. So after she did not show up at the finish, somepony would go look for her and get her out with no trouble. Yet for some reason we get overreaction to rival Rarity's.

Song was good, but not anywhere near as good as "Winter Wrap-Up" and "Art of the Dress" to me.

I personally think this episode was pretty good. After being gone from one episode and making a non-speaking cameo in another, it was nice to finally see dashie get an episode focused on her, as well as another one coming up. But watching this episode made me think of the possible pictures on ponibooru that will come up. Here's what I think will pop up on that site:

1:Rainbow dash with her sunglasses and hat will be made to look like a rap music video.

2:Dash jumping on the turtle will be editted with her wearing Mario's clothes.

3:Dash with her hat will result in even more scout/dash pics.

I liked the song a lot.

...And, honestly, I liked that bat as much as the tortoise. That glass musical act was epic !

The tortoise's attempt at trapping Opal in her cage was quite impressive too.

I am now in possession of a My Little Pony playlist for my iPod.

Good lord, this show has some fantastic music.

Was a really good episode I thought. The bf and I really enjoyed it.

I don't want to count how many times I've listened to the Best Pet song. It will be stuck in my head for days.

Heheh.. my fav is still Winter wrapup :)

For added fun, go to the slow pan out at the end of the song, and watch the door of the chicken coop very carefully.
