...and now it occurs to me that I've never actually looked for pony stuff at Wal-Mart, just Target and Meijer and Toys "R" Us.

There's a drug store near me that has the brushable ponies, but those are the only ones I've ever seen...
...Okay, this might be a Canadian thing. The store is called London Drugs - there's also stores such as Shoppers Drug mart - they're essentially convenience stores, with pharmacies attached. Hence the drugs.
Eh, we have those in the US, too. Walgreens, Rite Aid, Discount Drug Mart, etc.

That's pretty tricky. Ponies are quadrupeds — they'd be pretty lame if they lost any of their appendages.
