If there's more than one non-pony character I'd expect Spike, Zecora and Gilda to be in it. Spike > Gilda, though.

Little Strong Heart and Chief Thunderhooves would both be great characters to include.

Zechora pretty much counts as an "exotic pony." Yes yes, she is a zebra, but from a pure animating point of view, her anatomy is pretty much the same as any other pony. So I doubt she will be the "non-pony" of the games roster, and be included on the pony side.

Pinky's taunt needs to be "Ya gotta care / Ya gotta share!"

Except they plan on making an original, if somewhat inspired from the shows own tunes, soundtrack.

Hasbro seems to be quite laid back with the pony spread, letting all the episodes be on youtube and not having them torn down, unlike many other companies who go out their way to mute the audio of an entire video or ban accounts since more than a minute of their copyrighted music was played on it.

So if some companies get hissy over a youtube video, they'd go to more drastic lawsuit measures over a freeware game.

So yeah, that's one reason they'll do original tracks. Though with soemthing like this, who's complaining?

Hasbro seems to realize that we generate a massive amount of press for their show.

They aren't stupid enough to turn down massive amounts of free advertising.

Sadly, some companies are too stupid to realise that.

Then again, if any known copyrighted tracks were in the game files, that could cross into Digital Piracy is EVIL!, with people being able to just browse into the games music folder and rip it from there.

Anyhow, yeah. FIM seems to be the rare example where Merchandise-Driven is a good thing.

Also, they have made referances ot bronies twice in official commercials.

Specifically, Equestria Girls mentions them and the Theres A Pony For That has an Equestria Daily spoof in it.
