Derpy Hooves > Ditzy Doo, IMO.

I understand lots of people feel differently, but I kind of want "Derpy Hooves" to be canon.

Hasn't Derpy/Ditzy been confirmed as a supporting character for Season 2?

Her being named Derpy would be better. Hasbro adding Derpy to the toy line would be best.

I don't think I knew what "ditzy" meant when I was 5, anyway.

@ Rotty: She's confirmed as an official character who'll be storyboarded and possibly get her own character sheet. I don't think that means she'll be a full-blown supporting character, but we can hope.

Also, I prefer Derpy to Ditzy, but maybe that's just because I've gotten used to it.

I think the only way one could argue that "Derpy" is offensive is by saying that it derives from "durr", which makes fun of mentally retarded people. But even apart from that etymology being unconfirmed (as far as I know), that puts it at about the same level as "gypped" when it comes to offensive terminology (i.e., very remote).
