Yes. I was actually appalled that I was watching it at first, but it improved.

I had an idea about a two part season finale that ends with a pony dying (not a major one, just a pony), and the Elements of Harmony getting scattered across the world. It would end on a cliffhanger, and season 2 would be about the main cast traveling the world to find them, while still learning about friendship and going on quirky adventures.
