Drawing your ponysona makes it easier to make a Mary Sue as you have no restrictions. So, that's not the best reason to avoid a pony creator. As long as you stick to within show variation, it shouldn't be too bad.

@Ace: I'm not accusing you of anything! I don't think that they're Mary Sues. I'm merely saying that the pony creator is no more prone to sueification than drawing.

I'd say that it could have easily been an allusion to a brothel, but you'd be silly to think that that's what actually happened in the episode.
