  • Fast Movement (S) — +1 Move
  • Rainbow Crash (A) — Fly upwards and slam into the ground with great force. Deals damage in a large area.
• Beastmaster (Fluttershy)
  • Empathy (S) — Increased accuracy against monsters.
  • Critical: Berserk (R) — Gains Berserk status at low HP.
  • Stare (A) — Compel a monster to fight for you. Inflicts Charm.
• Party Girl (Pinkie Pie)
  • Planned Prank (A) — Set a trap in an adjacent square.
  • Party Cannon (A) — Deals damage from a distance.
  • Pester (A) — Irritate the target with incessant chatter. Inflicts Berserk.
• Scholar (Twilight Sparkle)
  • Teleport (S) — Teleport to any square when moving. May fail at longer distances.
  • Learn (R) — Gain the ability to use a spell after being hit by it.

I played that 8-bit pony game. Wow, Fluttershy just tears up everything. She was the only character that I didn't lose a life to Discord.

I don't think Iron Will antagonist. For entire episode tried to help protagonist, only before end he could count as antagonist but that conflict was resolved more quickly. Angel was bigger antagonist in this episode.

Iron Will wasn't an antagonist, he was a plot device. The real antagonist was Fluttershy.

Antagonist doesn't neccessarily mean villain. Just a character that ends up opposing the protagonist, which is kind of true in the climax. Even a hero can still be the antagonist.

From previous discussion, apparently Rarity was something of a Scrappy before she got a few spotlight episodes focused on her redeeming aspects (eg. Green Is Not Your Color). I think it's died down now, but there are still some who can't stand her. RD's hate was largely a result of that cluster of 'Jerk RD' episodes in Season Two, though Hurricane Fluttershy arguably tamed it, while Pinkie, being the deranged comic relief is naturally a rather polarizing character.

Granted it's not as if the other half of the cast doesn't have haters as well, as well as the CMC.

The funny part of that whole Iron Will thing is that the developers probably weren't thinking about it that hard anyway.

I guess if you want a silly justification for it, maybe he's trying to sell your character on his program...by charging them.

Some would say it's all a load of bull, but I think he may have a point or two after all.

Did anyone notice how much AJ "swears" compared to the rest of the cast (i.e. "for Pete's sake", "nuts and shoes")? Southern thing I suppose?

Also, did anyone bring up the obvious implication of the Dr. Hooves canon name? We already have a Derpy Hooves...Ship Tease perhaps? ;)

I noticed and planned to use it even before the W was dropped. By the way Kegi, thinks for renderring Turner into a middle name, that works better than I origonally planned. But yes, in my fanfic, he is Doctor Time Turner "Whooves" Hooves. Having earned his last name after marrying Derpy (in my fic, sometimes the stallion takes the mares last name).

Well, see, that stuff about ponies behaving poorly just leads me to say a line that I shamelessly hope will be subjected to Memetic Mutation:

• Everypony is a Troll.

No, seriously, think about it! I know Celestia is referred to as Trollestia by a number of fans, but I don't think it's limited to just her.

1. Everypony in the Mane 6 has acted as one at one time or another, either to each other or to other ponies.
2. Then you have ponies like Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon acting like this on a normal basis.
3. Miss Cheerilee seems to be one, and the fact that she's voiced by the same voice actor that does Celestia doesn't help her case.
4. Pets like Angel and Philomena are so this.
5. Just about everypony in "Putting Your Hoof Down" was this cranked so Up to Eleven that I'm sure viewers wanted to punch them in the face!
6. The Grrrreat and Powerful Trrrrixie was very much one.
7. Bon Bon has acted as this, and Granny Smith seems to get in on the act from time to time.

Like I said, Everypony is a Troll, Everypony is a Troll, Everypony is a Troll!

Apparently that's a thing in real life too, as I've read about man-taking-wife's-name in other works of fiction (ones that take place in real-life locations)
