Honestly my main issue it is that I can't imagine Dash being so broody. I just don't think she'd react that way.
I'd imagine that she'd freak the crap out and then make her way back towards normality.

I can't imagine RD's reaction to blindness to be brooding. First it would be rage, followed by frustration, stubborness to carry on as usual, a very low moment when she realizes how much she loses with her sight, and then something to bring the life back in her again because she's not that much of a quitter.
And now that I've just reviewed her character, I shall now go see this tumblr to see how the author mucks it up.
