Letters to Celesia contest

Once, I thought of myself as small, insignificant, useless, unimportant. A nobody in a world of somebodies. I was nothing more than 'part of the crowd' - something to see and then overlook. I wasn't as smart as the others, I wasn't as strong as the others. I had neither fame nor fortune. I used to think this mattered. I was self conscious, thinking that my perceived flaws and 'lack of value' made me a lesser person, and unworthy of friendship because of this.

I have since learned that I am wrong: I may not be rich - I accept this. I may not be famous - I accept this. I may not be strong - I accept this. I may not be smart - I accept this. But I am still worthy in my own way. I am me and that is all that should matter to both myself and anyone else - what I am as opposed to what I have done. And fame or not, fortune or not, strength or not, intelligence or not we are all of us worthy of friendship for this same reason - simply because we exist.

True friendship can be found when one realizes that that is all that matters.

And this knowledge is worth far and beyond anything else in the whole of the world. Ever.

So today, I'm gonna go see the Seth mcfarlane film known as Ted. All things considered, I have hope that it might be funny since Seth has written American Dad without anyone getting in the way {I've heard that FG going down the shitter isn't entirely Seth's fault, but rather the other writers as well}, so who knows?

And, if it does turn out to be a piece of shit, I can just go back home and watch something better. Like pony's.
