Batman could have been a Yellow Lantern.(I'm never calling them the Sinestro Corps) It could have been glorious.

No, that wouldn't have worked for long. Batman would disagree with Sinestro's ideology, Sinestro would use his failsafes to make Batman's ring fail, and contrary to popular belief, Batman cannot breath in space. :P
