I'm having a crappy time. My family's over, and my obnoxious cousins are blasting shitty dubstep out of the TV. Protip: making a dubstep remix of the Lost freaking Woods theme just makes me want the game less.

Speaking of awesome remixes, time to post this again.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

I know, and usually neither do I. But with Alex S., Glaze and Ephixa worming their way into my pop culture repertoire through my other interests, I've kind of warmed up to it. A good bassdrop is like little else in music, I've found. =)

^^Did you click through to the updated version? For some reason, I couldn't get a solid extension for the fixed one.
Also, cello version? I'd like to hear that. =)
^I still don't like the genre as a whole, but there are individual subgenres (game remixes, etc.) and composers I'll make exceptions for.
...Ponies, amirite?
I actually don't listen to a whole lot of pony remixes; mainly because very little of the music the fanbase puts out is the type of music I usually listen to. There are obviously exceptions, but on the whole I don't really go out of my way looking for stuff like that.
I do love myself some good prog-rock. Of course, it may be because my dad is a professional prog-rocker himself, so I'm just exposed to it a lot. I actually just got to see him perform live with Neal Morse the other day, which was quite a treat.
