I'd like to see Shiny and Cadance again too, but I think it would be best to just have them show up in the middle of the season somewhere when we wouldn't expect it.

Point. Personally, what I think would be great (and if there are fanfics of this, please point them out) is if Twilight, possibly with the help of her friends has to foalsit for her new nephew, Leon. If you thought foalsitting a pegasus or a unicorn was bad, how bad do you think foalsiting an alicorn would be.

@Super Gex: John de Lancie has stated that he's returning as Discord. I thought that it would probably be a flashback episode, but recent revelations from Twitter hint at a possible team up with Chrysalis

Though I'm torn on weither they should have new characters, or bring back old ones. I would love to see Gilda...and Trixie...and maybe evn the Flim Flams.

I'd love for Steven Magnet or Trixie to show up again. Or Fancypants. The show can always use more Fancypants.

I'm pretty sure you're going to get hit with them if you keep hanging around here, so you might as well look. It's only a really vague hint at best anyway, so we might be totally off the mark. I mean, both the Discord episodes and the finale caught everybody off guard.

@Badwolf: As noted, they're basically about as vague as can be. We're just spitballing here. Also M.A. Larson was surprised that so many people took him at his word, so I wouldn't put too much weight on it.

Look at how they got the GGG arc done. First Ticket Master, then Suited For Success, then Best Night Ever. They could apply that technique to any arc really.

I would argue that those episodes aren't an arc so much as they are episodes that happen to be connected. It's not like you can call "preparing for the Gala" a plotline, and it's not like the first two episodes end in a cliffhanger that strings you along into the next "arc episode".

Yeah, that's more of something that just happened to be mentioned in multiple episodes. It's nice continuity thing, but it's so minor I hesitate to call it an Arc.

@crow The Wonderbolts definately deserve more characterization and scenes. Especially Spitfire, seeing as she doesn't have much characterization to speak of.
