I already watched fireworks last night, since the country club near my house was having their own show on July 3rd, so I'm staying home tonight to stay with my dogs to give them comfort. If Fluttershy is still around, she'd probably understand very well about needing to be there for frightened animals when there are loud noises around (like when the Sonic Rainboom went off the first time).

I know that they have fireworks in Equestria, since I remember seeing them during the Gala (it was during the "At the Gala" song and it was either when Celestia or the Wonderbolts came out). So they obviously use them for celebrations in Equestria, at least in Canterlot. But I wonder if ponies have any specific holidays that are associated with fireworks shows, like how the Fourth of July is in the USA or Guy Fawkes' Day in England. I do remember reading that in the UK G1 pony comics, Fizzy was in charge of making the fireworks for Fizziwhizz Night, which was the Dream Valley equivalent of Guy Fawkes Day or something along those lines.

Both of which are celebrations of a rebellion, interestingly enough (I mean the real-life holidays, not the pony ones).

Hi, Fallen. I'm celebrating the Fourth of July alone with a bottle of Duggan's Irish Cream (it's the same as Bailey's, but 1/3 the price) and some beer.

I'm "celebrating" by being incredibly bored and posting on Tv Tropes. Also Treasure Island is on in here and it actually looks pretty good but I'm not watching it.

It's funny, within the time I've came to this forum, I've realised there are A LOT of avatars of either Lesson Zero or Luna Eclipsed. Just thought I'd randomly point that out.
