@Story Even so, it's not that big of an assumption. Even if Twi wasn't the youngest, having the whole mane 6 be more or less the same age is an even bigger stretch, IMO.

Why not have them be around the same age? after all, getting their C Ms together is a much bigger coincidence.

With the whole "magic kindergarten" thing, there is literally zero evidence either way, so it's all up to interpretation, and I prefer to think that Twilight is the youngest. Fanon is cool like that.

It's a coincidence, but that coincidence was the whole point of an episode. How does one unlikely thing happening make another unlikely thing somehow more likely?

This is what I think as well. I think it's very unlikely that Rainbow Dash isn't the youngest based on how she earned her cutie mark.

The Sonic Rainboom was really impressive, easily seen and had far reaching consequences. I bet dozens of foals got their Cutie Marks from it.

As for the matter of ages, I always thought that Pinkie's one of the oldest (and Fluttershy the oldest, being one year after her), mainly because she seems the one with more experience (she just don't know how to communicatre it properly XD). So that makes Aj and Rarity, and perhaps Twillight too, in the middle, and Dash the youngest (definitely :P) of them. With that said I do believe they're eachother not vey distant in age (perhaps one or two years younger/older each).

As for magic kindergarten, is definetly inside Celestia's school, only that there aren't unicorn toddlers, just foals who learns the basis of magic. So yeah, Twilight's not the youngest.

Also, I had a realization: that changelings can be the ultimate pets!

shoot, I missed a discussion on sleep paralysis? I had sleep paralysis once, but it was only paralysis and none of the freaky stuff that people usually report along with it. The sequence of events was roughly

*wakes up in middle of night*
thoughts: wtf why did I wake up? well, better lift my head to see what time it is on the clock next to my bed!
*is unable to lift head*
thoughts: ...ok, neck not working, I'll just prop myself up on my arm then!
*is unable to move arm*
thoughts: well shit. whatever, I'll just go back to sleep...

Incidently, Pokemon are unable to get Sleep Paralysis. Only one status ailment at a time.
