Alright. Had a nice chat with Ginger and some other guys on Skype. He seems well.

So what's stopping Ginger from using a different IP address and a different account to post here? (I don't know much about how perma banning works)

That sort of thing is frowned upon, leave it at that. Someone else tried that before and it didn't go well.

Anyway, we just shot the breeze, talked about video games and came up with dumb ideas.

I liked the tragedy off we had.

I just realized (unrelated segue of thoughts) that the blood effects from z-sabre damage in the Megaman Zero series is unrealistic because the plasma blade would cauterize wounds inflicted.

My little sister is a closet brony. She just turned on A Canterlot Wedding. She's also writing a pony fanfic where the ponies are hobos (don't ask). She also asked me to turn on other episodes after I finished Hurricane Fluttershy. Yet, she calls the ponies my imaginary friends.

When I saw that one episode "Call of the Cutie", I thought it was a little weird how Apple Bloom was just about to escape the party, when Applejack shows, as if she was being a Troll and forcing AB to stay where she was, and AJ says this:

"Apple Bloom, you made it. After I heard about Twist, I was afraid you wouldn't show up. I sure am glad you came to your senses about this whole cutie mark thing. These things happen when these things are supposed to happen. Trying to rush 'em just drives you crazy. I'll let you be, looks like your friends want to talk to you."

I'm sure a number of people were wondering if AJ suddenly became stupid, a Horrible Judge of Character or something, because Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara are not even close to being AB's friends!

Then I had a moment of Fridge Brilliance: AB has never actually told anypony, except for Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo, that SS and DT are not her friends. That, and as "Hearth's Warming Eve" showed, the ponies try to stay united by love and friendship to keep the Windigos away. Clearly, the community has such a sunny outlook on life, that everypony assumes that everypony in the community is a friend to each other. Maybe I'm wrong about that, but it might explain why Applejack would make such an assumption, while we viewers do not have the luxury of believing in such assumptions.

Still, it makes me wonder: if some of the ponies and other creatures go around being haters, why haven't the Windigos appeared?

I think it's at a low enough level not to be an issue. I like your ideas about the sunny outlook.
